Genre: Passionate Pop/Soul
Darry spent the majority of his youth confined to a dingy basement and an 8 track recorder. He never even began singing in front of anyone until his High School Battle of the Bands at 18 years old. Needless to say, things have changed.
Darry recorded his first single in Austin Texas with “Lifehouse” bassist Sergio Andrade, and “Seal” drummer, Ramy Antoun. His bright future was further reinforced by keyboardist, Rami Jaffee’s (of “The Wallflowers”) desire to produce his record out in LA. Instead, Darry dedicate his drive into forming a band. He headed home.
2 years later, Darry Miller & The Veil blow away audiences around the country with their relentlessly catchy songs; rooted in soul, R&B, blues, and the “purest form of pop” (Fly Magazine).
The Veil consists of lead guitarist Dylan Madar, organ and keyboard player, Derek Jenkins, bassist, Josh Kirwin, and drummer, Daniel Jones. They’ve shared the stage with everyone from Robert Randolf to Neon Trees.
Their stage presence is captivating, and their songs, uniquely timeless.
The band is stacked with raw, young talent. Darry’s voice is immersed in soul, and his lyrics, bona fide.
“This is what we love doing. Sharing our songs, our excitement, and our battles, to anyone that wants to listen and be apart of our experience. We then become apart of the theirs. It’s fun as hell, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything” -Darry Miller
